Big Sky Resort lies nestled in the Rocky Mountains in the shadow of majestic Lone Mountain. In close distance to the Yellowstone, it is really an incredible place to visit for a winter time adventure. At Lone Mountain (elevation 3403 m / 11,166 ft) you can see three states, two national parks and there is 1326 vertical meters /4350 vertical feet of skiing below you. This is the largest served by lifts vertical drop in the U.S.
