One of the oldest cities in Poland, the past capital of the country, Kraków (Cracow) is a city that stands out. The old part of the city dates back to the medieval times. Countless churches in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, one of the first universities in the world, and the Royal Castle on the banks of the Vistula River are only a few out of many its highlights. This is the city of my youth, after many years I still find it to be an interesting.
