Cape May Artillery Bunker (Cape May, New Jersey) is World War II relict, very rare such structure in North America. With its heavy artillery it was a part of the Atlantic costal defense system protecting against enemy ships and submarines. Bunker was originally built 300 m /900 feet from the shore. Constant waves, many years of storm weather have changed the shoreline. Today the bunker located is on the beach and is often washed by the waves.
