The Monastery of Saint Theodosius was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. The building standing today was completed in 1952. In the courtyard of the monastery, there is an entrance to a small cave, Theodosius’ retreat. It is also a place where his remains are buried. It is supposed to be the same grotto where the Three Magi stayed overnight.
