I decided to fix the glitches later. In the morning, we started preparations for the return home. Balios needed a good wash; we cleaned the interior thoroughly. Preparing car for a long storage went well and relatively quickly. Everything went according to our list, which includes waxing the car body vacuuming the carpeting, emptying the refrigerator and water tanks, etc. At the end, we disconnected the car batteries. Balios was ready and we could go home. Our flight was the next day early the morning, so we headed to Oaxaca for the night.
There was still time to walk around Zócalo, the old part of Oaxaca. Very impressive is Templo de Santo Domingo with an opulent, with a gilded altar and the whole interior. Santo Domingo was built at the end of the 16th century and was part of a Dominican monastery.
Finally, we left Mexico and flew home. Holidays were approaching, the ski season was about to begin. Balios was in good and secure place. He has to wait there until we return to continue our journey through the World of the Maya.
