A small fortified residence in the village of Korzkiew dates back to the mid-fourteenth century. Korzkiew Castle is located in the line of medieval castles, the so-called Eagle's Nests, although it probably did not belong to the defense system guarding the medieval border of Poland.
Throughout its history, the castle was in private hands and changed owners many times. In the 20th century, the castle fell into complete ruin. After the fall of the People's Republic of Poland, the Korzkiew Castle changed hands again and has been constantly rebuilt since then. It is a wonderful example of the care of a private owner for the survival of a building with a long history. A stone and brick, architecturally beautiful castle with an inner courtyard and wooden cloisters has been brought back to life from the ruins.
