One of the most interesting train stations in the world, São Bento in Porto, has an extraordinary interior. The hall is covered with 20,000 azulejo tiles from the early 20th century. The blue tiles depict historical battle scenes, knights, nobles, and the rural life of ordinary people. The train station here is also a place where the history of transportation in Portugal is described this time on colorful tiles.
