The beaches on the island of Saint Kitts can be divided into calm ones facing the Caribbean Sea and rougher ones on the Atlantic Ocean side. These are sandy or rocky beaches. The sand can be yellow or volcanic black. The beaches we visited were empty, quiet, without people. We were accompanied only by the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore.
