This is definitely Nadi's most visible landmark. The temple was built by local Indian population that is majority in this part of Fiji. Sri Siva Subramaniya is claimed to be the largest Hindu temple in the Southern hemisphere. Built in the South Indian (Dravidian) style, it is dedicated to the deity Murugan whose statue was carved in India.
Another Hindu temple that I have visited, Sri Venkateswara in New Jersey, United States has similar architecture, but lacks colorful ornamentation.
