Vanuatu, island country in Oceania (previously known as New Hebrides) is unusual. For 200,000 inhabitants and 83 islands there are almost 100 native languages. People managed to protect their original culture; some have even chosen to live like centuries ago. The happiness and friendliness in Vanuatu is real. During my visit I experienced it every day. People of Vanuatu have no big expectations; they just enjoy their simple and modest life.
